the size of that thing! This is a sea king crab from Alaska. The species lives in the deep sea in the darkness where the waters are always deadly cold. The animal is caught in stormy waters near the Bering Strait. These crabs of this species are quite large and it is not uncommon to reach the weight of 12kg. Crab fishing in the North Sea is considered the most deadly profession in the world. conditions at sea make these men can be in constant danger of drowning, hypothermia and serious injuries caused by nets, ropes and heavy equipment.

Alaskan crab fishing is very dangerous, and the fatality rate among the fishermen is about 80 times the fatality rate of the average worker. It is suggested that, on average, one crab fisherman dies weekly during the seasons.
